Dinesh Bhatia: Consulate General Of India, Toronto

Ambassador Dinesh Bhatia assumed the charge of Consul General of India, Toronto on 9 March 2016. He joined Indian Foreign Service in 1992. He speaks Hindi, English, Spanish, Punjabi and Multani.




Dr Hari Sharma MD, Ohio - Ayurveda "Science of Epigenetics"

Dr. Sharma is an MD; Fellow of the National Academy of Ayurveda, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India; Fellow of the American College of Nutrition; Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada; Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine; and Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology.

He specializes in Ayurveda, a comprehensive, multi-strategy, prevention-oriented system of healthcare that originated in India. Ayurveda includes personalized recommendations for diet and digestion, lifestyle, life-enhancing behaviors, herbal mixtures, rejuvenation therapies, detoxification therapies, self-massage, breathing exercises, and meditation.

Dr PK Kutty MD Gastroentrologist, Brampton

Dr.Kutty had 3-4 years of internal medicine training in UK and obtained MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of London. He arrived in Canada as Chief Resident at the Medical Teaching Unit at Regina General Hospital in 1975, subsequently did his 2 year GI fellowship at the University of Western Ontario then joined the faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland in St.John's in 1978.  After retiring from Hospital Based Practice in Cambridge in 2008, he opened his private office in Brampton where he has been providing non-emergency GI Consultations and upper and lower GI endoscopy services. 


Dr Bhaswati Bhattacharya MD, New York

Specializing in The Patient, Dr. Bhattacharya actively incorporates traditional and indigenous medical systems into her clinical practice of holistic family medicine, using modern science only where it actually works for real patients. The goal is not a clinical trial; it is to help each patient improve his/her quality of life, health, and well-being. She defines, refines and practices medicine on a holistic and truly integrative path. She provides holistic medical care for the underserved as well as for insured patients.

Dr Keith Wallace Fairfield Iowa

Dr. Robert Keith Wallace received his Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of California at Los Angeles and did his postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School. His seminal papers published in Science, the American Journal of Physiology, and Scientific American, showed that Transcendental Meditation technique, produced a fourth major state of consciousness different than waking, sleeping, or dreaming.


Dr Nitin Shah MD Ay, Toronto

Upon graduating with a 5 year Honors Bachelor degree of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Gujarat Ayurveda University in 1984, Dr. Shahtraveled to the holy city of Varanasi for further training in Yoga and Ayurvedic Surgery. Afterwards, he completed a 3 year Doctorate degree to attain an MD in Ayurveda and Surgery. He practiced Ayurveda in India before beginning to practice and teach Ayurveda in Europe and North America. His knowledge and experience is vast in the fields of Ayurvedic panchakarma treatments, herbology, Ayurvedic lifestyle management and dietetics, and the management of ano-rectal disorders with specialized Ayurvedic para-surgical procedure known as Kshara sutra.

Dr. Sanam Gupta (MD Ayurveda) has a decade of family tradition and formal clinical, educational experience from well established institutions and hospitals in Northern India. Her passion for Ayurveda has given her thorough approach to medical assessment and treatment. Dr. Sanam
Gupta wants to use her zeal for preventative medicine to help people and allow for growth of natural wellness in Alberta. As a sister science Yoga when combined with Ayurveda allows for mind and body homoeostasis.

Her professional desire is to provide clinical consultation for individuals who need physiological & physiological balancing. She recognises the need for tailored patient treatment and education, so that the body mind balance can be restored, maintained, and further difficulties are prevented.
